We saw a gap in the market of alternative culture and tattoo magazines. Despite being marketed towards both sexes, we felt most of these magazines objectified women, celebrating them for their bodies and not for their artistic capabilities. A lot of tattoo magazines display the ink on a feminine body in order to appeal to men, we want to KNOW the models, to understand their ink, share their passion for their art. We want to celebrate women AS the artists, as personalities and as role models. Our vision is to celebrate women and their body art or lack there of. Whether you are inked, pierced, natural, dyed, enhanced, scarred - you are all beautiful. We want to allow women the space to express themselves in an artistic way even if they do not fit into the mainstream media norms. We are here to fill the void, we are an alternative magazine to celebrate alternative women and culture.
